Wide perspectives, solid present and positive future

On April 26, 2002 at the end of the 10th Round of Brussels, Chile and the EU announced the successful end of the negotiations.

Considering the economic sphere of the Association, there are elements such as market level positive trends, a population of 379.4 million people and a per capita income of US$ 24,662, increasing exportations, direct investment, development of joint ventures and employment generation, etc.

Also, it s worth mentioning that on October 2001, the EU became the first external investor in Chile with a total investment of US$ 17.449.9 millions.
